19th century scientific illustration, APS exhibit

There’s an exhibit currently up at the American Philosophical Society’s museum (104 South 5th Street, Philadelphia, Pa.), “Through the Looking Lens: Cornelius Varley’s Wondrous Images of Art and Science, 1800-1860”, that includes exquisite illustrations of plants and algae (among other things).
