The Beginnings of Botany in Michigan: From Thomas Nuttall (1810) to the Douglass Houghton Era (1830-1840)

On the evening of Thursday the 27th of April, beginning at 7:30PM, the Philadelphia Botanical Club will have its monthly meeting, and Anton Reznicek, of the University of Michigan Herbarium and co-author of the Field Manual of the Michigan Flora, will talk about botanical history, in a lecture titled “The Beginnings of Botany in Michigan: From Thomas Nuttall (1810) to the Douglass Houghton Era (1830-1840)”.
